Trailer Fire Shuts Tacony-Palmyra Bridge

All lanes of the Tacony-Palmyra Bridge were closed Sunday evening, July 30 after a tractor trailer caught fire underneath it.

07/30/2023 6:59 p.m.

The blaze broke out around 5 p.m.

The bridge connects Palmyra, NJ to Philadelphia, and runs over the Delaware River.

Videos of the blaze were posted to Citizen. No word on a reopening.
